I've been in the ‘art business’ for most of my working life. Art is my excuse to hang around things that I enjoy - machines. Seeing and hearing a beautifully engineered and designed vehicle, no matter if it's in the air, on the ground or on water immediately takes me back to a time when there was a pride in workmanship. Painting these craft is my way of acknowledging and applauding that commitment and craftsmanship.

Being close to Goodwood motor racing circuit allows me the chance to visit throughout the year and in particular September when the world famous "Goodwood Revival" is held. It's a great opportunity to see those special cars,motorcycles and aircraft in action.  The revival is a really terrific place to see the best machines in the world "close-up and personal" and it's a great opportunity for me to get plenty of invaluable reference for my paintings.

If you have a cherished car, motorcycle, boat or aircraft, in fact anything that has an engine that is measured in horsepower, I would be delighted to produce a unique and individual study for you. Unique because I do not sell work for reproduction in any way. Your machine…, your painting, for your eyes (and your guests) only.

I also have a wide and varied collection of original paintings for sale. These change quite often so get on my mailing list for updates.

Whilst I live near Goodwood, home of the Goodwood Revival and the Goodwood Festival of Speed, I am not just a painter of cars. In fact I am happy to produce a painting of your aircraft, boat, car or motorcycle, anything really that has an engine!

Whichever way you look at it, I enjoy creating portraits with or without the human element.

It is always a thrill to see and hear so many classic English, Italian, American, French and even Japanese motorcycles and cars not to mention the fantastic aircraft from all over the world…gathered, as it were under one roof at the Revival.

The aircraft that I paint come from all walks of life WWI and WWII fighters, restored biplanes and various general aviation aircraft. The cars don’t have to be racing or sports cars..in fact I am as happy painting Minis as I would be doing Maserati’s. The same goes for motorcycles or boats.
